  • NASA finds signs of liquid water on Mars. Great opportunities are being seen in finding more about the possible life present on the red planet in light of such a great discovery.
  •  RBI has cut its policy interest rate to a 4-1/2 year low of 6.75 percent on Tuesday. In a bigger-than-expected move this (with inflation running at record lows) could help turn around an economy that has been slowing down.
  • Russia is reportedly preparing to conduct airstrikes in Syria. As per US officials, the on-ground movements indicate that the primary target may not be ISIS. 
  •  On Tuesday, Supreme Court declined a plea by the BCCI seeking recall of its order barring the cricketing body's former president N.Srinivasan from contesting its election as long as he was in a situation of conflict of interest situation.
  • ISRO has crossed yet another milestone by conducting 51 international customer satellite launches successfully till now. On Monday, ISRO had launched ASTROSTAT which is India’s first Multi Wavelength Space Observatory.
  • Alibaba's latest investment in Paytm has sparked a series of questions due to conflict of interest. Recently, this Chinese e-commerce firm had picked up stake in paytm's direct rival Snapdeal. Paytm will use the fresh capital to invest in marketing, technology and talent.

  •  Air India announced the launch of a non-stop flight to San Francisco fulfilling a long-pending demand of Indian IT professionals. This will be effective from 2nd December 2015 onward.
